THEORY is a research body with one mandate: locate garments too rare to mass-exist, authenticate them, and catalogue each as a single specimen — species, habitat, condition, and a field report, filed under a reference number it keeps forever.

We don't restock, because the wild doesn't restock. Each specimen is found once, studied once, and released to exactly one collector. When it leaves the lab, the entry is archived and the search begins again.

Every find is graded by hand — fabric, seams, hardware, honest wear — and described without euphemism. A flaw is a flaw. Patina is data. You'll know precisely what you're adopting before it's ever shipped.
